8 limbs yoga

coming up and to hear more about mill's tavern, visit rhodeshow.com. michaela: this morning in project fitness, feeling like

8 limbs yoga, you are in a workout rut? are you struggling to get to the gym or maybe go for a run? time to try something new.

i did when i hung out at rafa yoga. check it out. this is anti-gravity yoga. definitely a lo of fear or anxiety about coming in for the first time, perhaps people that are newer to working out. but usually they're really

surprised with how much they can actually do that they can use the hammock. michaela: trust your hammock. it is over 500 pounds on each side. so it will hold you. push down and try to use your arms to lift yourself up and

inside. and slide i -- slide it to the backs of your knees. up and over to the other side. and use the fabric next to your arms and legs. michaela: a few more move and stretching loosen our muscles before we target the

core. keep the legs up. let your neck go back. your head relax. a swan dive. michaela: from there, try the star. this type of yoga, you have to be aware because for the

first time you're hanging upside down, you don't have that spatial awareness yo and i forces you to stay focused. now pull the belly in more. and bent the knees. flex your toes behind. you can grab your leg, you can grab your foot.

good! now push i -- push it through the middle and continue to climb higher. michaela: have some fun with the archer pose. you feel censored, it is optional. michaela: but after a moment

-- yes, good! one, two, three. let's go! and now the left legs to the side circling in behind you. bend the knee. and you can grab the ankle. one of those hands.

veteran -- even people who have been practicing yoga for years, it helps them to improve their balance. there are benefits to that. and together we say namaste. give yourself a round of applause.

[applause] michaela: it was really cool. it looks extremely intimidating, i will admit that. will: and they carry a lot of weight. michaela: it was really secure. i wasn't the only one that was

there for the first time. there were kids in there. men, women, it was awesome. brendan: it hurts just to get into bed. michaela: he recommends wearing long shirts and pants so you get used to the feing of stuff that is around you.

and he says because there is so much hydration that happens in your spine when you leave the class after hanging upside
