root down yoga

so, you have tight hips. this could bethe result of a lot of running or hiking or cycling that you've been doing or maybe you just had a long day at theoffice where you've been sitting i'm jean, and i'm going to show you stretch to help with that melina is going to place her knew onto asurface that's roughly about a foot or two high

root down yoga, and then you're going to step forward with the opposite leg. leaning forward is when you get your nice hip flexor stretch but the mistake most people make is that this hip rotates backwards. youwant to make sure you correct that

so your hips are level and square. you'll feel a nice stretch along the front of the hip and into the thigh. you're going to hold the stretch for about 20 to 30 seconds, repeat five times on each side it's really important to make surethat your muscles are nice and warm so the best time to do this stretch will be after a run. again, never overstretching and always relaxing into that stretch. i hope this helps in your tight hips.
