what’s the first job you ever had? the first job i ever had was shoveling hay in saskatchewan, i think. then i started pumping gas at the co-op gas station and then i got to work at the movie store, which was a great job. but then i got fired for not tucking in my shirt.

the last thing i googled was iyengar headstand. what’s like the one memory that stands out to you about your time with iyengar? the coolest thing about meeting iyengar is immediately he said to me with his fierceness and with his eyebrows so sharp and shiny, he said: "be direct." "that’s how i got to spend time with the cream of the world, by being direct." what is one thing that you’ve mastered? i have mastered the art... of... what have i mastered?
