hi i'm loreen arbus. i'm president of my ownfoundation the loreen arbus foundation and i'm tari hartman squire ceo of ein sof communications. our commitment is called lights! camera! access! 2.0 - we are absolutely thrilled and honored that cgi has chosen our commitment lights! camera! access! 2.0and we are going to be focusing on youth with disabilities who opt out all toooften from pursuing a career in media there are many reasons for that – verywell documented – but we want to change that, and bring in youth with disabilitiesand help them with their path in media lights! camera! access! 2.0 has three goals.the first one is to increase employment of people with disabilities in front ofand behind the camera – and the keyboard.

the second goal is to improve portrayalsin all kinds of media; and the third goal is to increase the access of media forpeople with disabilities, who are deaf, blind, and have other disabilities. so ourgoal is to bring together decision makers in all various aspectsof media with college students with disabilities, recent graduates, andperformers, writers, directors, editors, makeup, costume... all different variouscareers, and bring them together. and the reason we bring everyone together isbecause we want to take those negative myths and shatter them because the mediahas the power to do that. so we know that diversity is a business imperative, butinclusion -- that's a choice!

and the media the media is a veryimportant way to change people's attitudes. we are launching co-branded media scholarshipsand internships the first two are being funded by my foundation and we have manyother organizations that are stepping up and we're going to be announcing thatshortly. we're so appreciative to you for the collaboration that we're embarking on,and we want to invite everyone to join us. our commitment is called lights!camera! access! 2.0 – join us please.
