hello friends! in this video i'd like to share my experience of sounding in parturition on my vocal yoga master classes i've always say that singers and swimmers give birth best and now i lived it by my own experience. obstetricians and doles often say on the training courses that it's very important to learn how to relax. but to relax not in a sense to relaxe and fall asleep it is an active relaxation


and it helps us to relief muscular tension in physiological sense, at the reflex level our mouth and throat are connected with birth canal so through breathing practices and sounding woman in parturition learn to anesthetize herself and it really works! and for example if the person practiced for a long time pranayama in yoga or people that sing often or speak or do some sport which is connected with breath to concentrate on a breath is much more easier in extreme situation


thus, even if someone explained you how to breath in extreme situation person which didn't practise hardly can breath correct and the same with the sounding if person did practice for a long time how to sound in the relaxed state thereafter even in extreme situation his body remembered this state and probably it will help so as the pain increases


for example when the cervix opening the pain gradually increases and on the elementary grade of pain you can breathe on the long exhalation, for instance to concantrate attention on exhalation but as the pain increases just breathing is not enought thats why the moan is born from the breath and collect our attention


and then the more painful the more deeper you should open the sound and when we open the mouth on the wide vocals when we sing or rumble therefore our birth chanal opens and it help as to avoid tension, rupture or any different unpleasant situation before learn how to sing freely person should understand first in what range it is comfortable to sound for him because, sometiomes, the scream can take all forces from the woman


woman can left all forces in the moment whe she screams so it is important to understand which note and in which register we should sing to anesthetize us and to safe the force for parturition at my vocal yoga classes i talk about different breathing practices and also about east and west technics which are able to release the own sound regardless musition abilities and i want to inspire all girls
